Joe Pope
Joe Pope is the president and Broker in Charge of National Asset Realty, LLC. He specializes in investment income properties and site acquisition. He works with both buyers and sellers of retail investment properties and specializes in helping his clients with 1031 Exchanges.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and his Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been working in the commercial real estate business for 18 years. Joe has worked as a site selection expert for such companies as Advance Auto Parts, Subway, Dollar General, Doctors Care, and Bojangles. As a residential developer for Shumaker Homes, he developed over 1,000 residential lots.
Joe prides himself on a lifetime worth of volunteerism. He is a former Peace Corps volunteer who served in Senegal West Africa. Joe is an assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America and served as a board member for Meals on Wheels with Senior Resources. As an active member of the Columbia East Rotary Club, Joe has served in many leadership positions including president and vice-president . He is also on the Board of Visitors at Kanuga Episcopal Conference Center.
Joe enjoys the hunting, fishing and camping. He is an accomplished photographer with his works published in over 25 national magazines. Joe is married to Pamela, and they have two wonderful children.
